Huntingcoco, by leading 2nd Crop Sire Practical Joke, made her debut today in the 1st race at Del Mar Turf Club for Bob Baffert. Huntingcoco put in a series of solid works at San Luis Rey and then Del Mar for Baffert, but his other entry, Carla, a $950,000 Keeneland Yearling, went off as the prohibitive Favorite.

Huntingcoco stalked the early leaders before unleashing an impressive stretch drive resulting in a 6 3/4 length win at 7/1 odds. Huntingcoco earned an E89 for her efforts. It will be exciting to see where Hunting Coco runs next after dominating this impressive field.
